IIK!! is a small but well-estabilished horror film festival in Ii, a municipality of 9,300 people near Oulu in Northern Finland.
The three-day festival is held yearly close to Halloween. The programme typically consists of about 10 feature films (including a silent horror classic with live accompaniment), a competition for short horror films, a closing club night with live performers and varying special programme. In existence since the year 2002, IIK!! enjoys strong cult popularity with a yearly attendance of about 1,100.
